Shimla: Three persons were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents that occurred overnight in Shimla district, police said here today.
The first mishap occurred at Banuti, 12 kms from here last night, and two persons were killed on way to hospital while two were admitted to IGMC hospital when an Alto car carrying them fell into a deep gorge. The deceased were identified as Lek Raj and Kamal of Arki area in Solan district. A tipper (truck) fell into a deep gorge at Jubba area on Shimla-Suni road on 9 pm last night killing one Nakh Ram belonged to Chawari area of Suni. The bodies of the deceased have been handed over to their relatives after postmortem.
