Shimla: At least five people were killed and six others injured when a truck plunged into a gorge at Prem Nagar, near Kotkhai in Shimla district last night (Thursday), police sources said here today.
The ill-fated truck in which eleven people were traveling, skidded off the road and pluged into a 200-ft-deep gorge at Prem Nagar near Kotkhai last night at about 11 pm. Two persons were killed on the spot and three succumbed to their injured on way to hospital. The injured were admitted to Kotkhai hospital and three critically injured were referred to IGMC Shimla.
