Gujarat Ambuja pays 25 lakh for synthetic track at Dharamsala

Shimla: Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal was today presented a draft of Rs 25 lakh by Gujarat Ambuja, which operates a cement plant in Himachal Pradesh, as first installment of money committed by it to lay a modern synthetic track at Dharamsala and to develop the same as a sports destination of the state.

The Chief Minister on the occasion said that it would go a long way to inspire budding players besides creating quality sports infrastructure in the State. This would be the second synthetic turf in the state after Shilaru in Shimla.
