Solan: Two motorcycle-borne men took away Rs 2.61 lakh from a company official while he was showing his vehicle document at a police ‘naka’ in the industrial township of Baddi this morning, senior police official said.
SP Baddi Chander Shaikhar told HimVani over phone that two motorcycle-borne men broke down the window pane of a car belonging to a private company in Baddi while the official was going to deposit cash in a nearby bank. He said that police has set a ‘naka’ in Baddi market and police personals were checking documents of vehicles. As the company official was interacting with police, two motorcycle-borne men appeared near his car, broke the window glass and run away from the site immediately carrying a cash bag containing currency notes worth Rs 2.61 lakh. The miscreants were still at large and police parties were sent to track them.
