Shimla: The prosecution in the Aman Kachru “ragging-to-death” case today demanded that the statement of the victim’s father Rajendra Kachru should also be placed on record.

While hearing the case on day-to-day basis in the fast-track court here, the state government moved an application seeking statement of Rajendra Kachru, father of the victim. The state also urged that the statements of the team of doctors that conducted the postmortem examination of the victim and an ENT specialist who examined Aman after the ragging incident should also be recalled in the court.

After the hearing, district deputy attorney RK Kaushal told media persons that the court directed counsel for the accused to file their reply regarding examination of Aman’s father and re-examination of the doctors by tomorrow.
