Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Congress today criticized the state BJP government for not pursuing the issue of commission being charged from apple growers in the fruit markets of Delhi, strongly and properly.

“Even after relief being provided by Delhi High Court, commission is being charged from apple growers in the national capital. The state government has failed to enforce that decision and have not even filed a contempt of court case,” said party general secretary and spokesperson Kuldeep Rathore. Rathore alleged that even after tall claims, the state government has failed to ensure smooth transport and other facilities for apple growers of the region.

“The poor condition of roads has hit the prospective of apple growers hard. The conditions of roads expose the mismanagement and corruption on the part of the government as it points at low-quality materials being used in construction of roads,” said Rathore.
