Chamba: A government building housing office of the resident commissioner, Pangi, in Chamba district was gutted in a massive fire, an official said Friday.
SDM Chamba KS Choudhary told HimVani over telephone that office of Pangi’s resident commissioner at Killar (HQ of Pangi sub-division) was completely destroyed in a major fire in the wee hours of Friday. However, no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, he said. The loss was estimated to be more than Rs 1 crore, he added.
