Shimla: Bahujan Sanghrash Party (Kanshi Ram), floated in 2009 by Dalbara Singh, younger brother of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder Kanshi Ram, has claimed that it would work for uniting all those people who have been neglected by BSP.

All-India president of the Bahujan Sanghrash Party (Kanshi Ram), Dalbara Singh in a press conference here on Sunday appointed former BSP leader Karam Chand Bhatia as state president of its Himachal unit and said his party will work for the downtrodden sections of the country. He also entrusted him with the powers to choose state body of the party. He said that BSP chief Mayawati has forgotten the ideals laid by Kanshi Ram for the uplift of the schedule castes.

Dalbara Singh alleged that all those leaders who had contributed in the formation of BSP have been neglected by the party chief, therefore it had become important to build a new party to provide leadership to the dejected people of the country.
