  1. made me laugh when i read this!
the ridiculousness of senseless violence.. these people need to evolve. into proper human beings, that is. or simply get a job.
on the other hand, even the thought of political parties existing in educational institutions makes me sick. grow up, you grown men!

    • its making me laugh when i read this comment…of all people in the universitites should not indulge in politics..while world over the leaders of national stature are made in universities while we advise our youth to abstain from politics..i remember once i read on a wall in some college…"when politics decide your education, standard and means of education you must decide what our politics shouls be…" moreover this is logical that educated people get involved in politics that it being left to illiterate politicians

  3. Political parties should not be allowed to operate within campus ! I really get disturbed when i read about violence in HP– the most peaceful and law-abiding place in India.

  9. The political parties should be completely banned in the schools/colleges/Universities. these places are for education and not for all these redicuous activities. A few yesrs ago, the environment was quite condicive for studies until the politics was banned in HP Univ. It's just hell of a time for new students in all this violence and no one is there to protect them. 🙁

    • Sanjay root cause of clash was spell of wine, believe me, it is not very difficult to under stand and require any hard rule and methodology to understand, The problem is lies with student politics but the 'intoxication' need to be wipe out.
PG students who are lashing iron rods on each other shattering window pans of educations institutions could not be expected from any normal students but these elements are doing every thing in the spell of wine. Hell to University authority who could not have even least command over their own students! We all are out from same University but we cared lot to save the life of brittlest equipments in our science labs.
No genuine students can afford such actions and even in-genuine and else in abnormal state of mind. Goons, lumpen elements, criminals and antisocial elements are often deviating the calm and meditating environ of educations institutions that of fish and vegetables markets. These elements need to be take care. But equally concerning is that problems always take shape of hatred politics which is rampant from top to bottom in our lives. Let us hope that both organization would apply their mind and did not become victim of parochial forces which trying to enforce nuisance values in the life of mentally and intellectual eveloved studnets and not further tangled in further enmity with each other and follow the sins committed by their cadres.

      • oh my god..mohan people sitting in the library drunk…i cant believe you…its not always drinking that cause these tussles…but there are various reasons….POWER CORRUPTS AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY…this is the power of the government which is causing these clashes with one side not even afraid of the law of the land as the police is under the political masters..I agree with you that nobody usually cant think of breaking a beaker in his lab or a desk in his classroom…but my dear this cant be liquor…sometimes this is the liquor of power and sometimes anger agains the authorities who dont even see whats happening in plain view..

  13. i was once a student of this university and presently placed in a 10000 crore MNC of Indian origin. Its kinda of funny when we read in papers that police has arrested nearly 50 students os SFI including girls while only 15 from ABVP are being arrested…I am sincerely of the view that police should do its duty irrespective of the government in force. Had police been vigilant and just and honest, it would not have been possible for the people to clsh like this..Serious action should be taken against the senior police officers who are incharge of the situation there
