Shimla: Reacting to the recent alleged charges of ‘insensitivity’ shown by BJYM president Anurag Thakur, Congress today asked him to seek an apology from the family members of the soldier (who died in a Naxal attack recently) and people of the state.

It was earlier alleged that Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur has joined a celebration rally at Dehra in Kangra district recently when a slain CRPF soldier was being cremated near the rally venue. Addressing media persons in Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan here today, Congress state media spokesmen Kuldeep Rathore condemned Thakur’s ‘insensitivity’ questioning his credibility as a national leader of BJP’s youth wing.

He alleged that Anurag was aware of the incident and the funeral function but Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and other BJP leaders were trying to shelter him by pretending that the rally was pre-scheduled and Anurga was unaware of the incident.
