Most public schools in Shimla to remains closed on July 5

Shimla: All major public schools in the capital town will remains closed on July 5 due to the nation-wide ‘hartal and bandh’ call given by Left parties and the BJP to protest against steep rise in fuel prices in the country.

Talking to HimVavi, state secretariat member of CPI-M Tikender Singh Panwar said that they have requested public schools managements to keep their schools closed on the protest call given by CPI-M and five other national parties. He said that most of school administrations have decided to keep schools closed. However, government schools are likely to remain open as there is no such information from the government so far.
