Shimla: Himachal Pradesh University executive council today decided to select PHD candidates in the basis of entrance tests. Giving detail of the decisions taken in the EC meeting, a university spokesman said that the council approved entrance test for Ph.D from this academic session. It also approved UGC Regulations-2009 for affiliation of different colleges/Institutes in the state.
The Council also approved re-employment of professor Vepa Rao as per UGC norms in the journalism and mass communication department.
