Shimla: The state cabinet today decided to decided to exempt multiplexes coming into commercial operation between the period of 26th May, 2007 to 25th May, 2012 from payment of entertainment duty/tax for a period of 5 years as per the Provisions of the Industrial Policy, 2004.
It also decided to set up a permanent Lok Adalat at Una. The cabinet meeting, presided by Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, also approved issuance of an ordinance for making amendment in the schedule of HP Judicial Officers (Pay and Conditions of Service) Act, 2003 for releasing the revised pay scale to judicial officers.
A mobile van fitted with all laboratory testing facilities for on-the-spot diagnosis of ailments of domestic animals and providing animal health care facilities to the farmers of district Mandi, Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, Bilaspur and Hamirpur, has also been sanctioned and shall be placed under the charge of Animal Health Care Diagnosis Laboratory, Mandi.
