Shimla: CMS Vatavaran will be launching its fourth environment and wildlife film festival and forum at Shimla from July 2 to 4, before moving on to Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Patna, Port Blair, Shillong and Trivandrum as its programme for the year. The focus will be green production and delivery methods, convergence and fusion of new consumer services and notion on collective goods for greater environmental efficiency, which can usher in a new green order.
Talking to media here, Narender Yadav of CMS Vatavaran said that the theme for the event would be climate change and sustainable technologies. ‘‘Participation in the travelling festival will provide unique opportunity to the people in the cities to enhance their knowledge and understanding about issues like climate change, water, forest, wildlife, conservation, eco-tourism, and natural heritage conservation, through a kaleidoscope of films, seminars, workshops, open forums and filed trips,’’ he said.
