While Una simmers, Shimla records highest temp of the month

Shimla: Heat wave blowing in the foothill and plain areas of state today affected the normal life as Una simmered at 42 degree Celsius. Other parts of state remained three to four degree above normal.

Kumarsain recorded two millimetre rainfall while rest part of state was remained dry. This capital town recorded highest temperature in this month at 29.5 degrees celsius.

Sundernagar and Mandi sizzled at 38.9 degrees each, Nahan 36.7 degrees, Solan and Bhuntar at 35 degrees each, Dharamshala 34.2 degrees and Kalpa 24 degrees respectively.

The Met office said that weather would mainly dry in state in next 24 hrs.
