Shimla: Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Gadkari would address its ‘Nyaya’ rally at the Ice Skating rink here on May 9. Giving detail about Gadkari’s visit to Himachal Pradesh, state BJP incharge Satpal Jain told media person here today that the BJP president would be coming to the state on a three-day tour.
He said that Gadkari had been visiting all states after taking over BJP leadership and during the visit he would address the newly-formed state BJP executive on May 9 besides addressing a proposed rally, which has been called as ‘Nyaya Rally’ because the Center discriminated against the state as it did not extend the industrial package. He said the rally would be used by the party to raise voice against injustice being done to the state.
Jain said that Congress state president Kaul Singh Thakur had been making misleading statement in the media that the state vigilance is tapping Dhumal’s telephone. He said “It is an absurd allegation by a very responsible leader as this fact is quite clear that without taking consent from the Union government no one can record telephonic conversation of any one.”
Responding to a question on BJP national secretary Jagat Prakesh Nadda remaining state forest minister, he said it would be settled by the national BJP leader and Dhumal.
