5 from Hamirpur die in Ambala mishap



Ambala: Five persons from Hamirpur were killed in a road accident on the Ambala-Jagadhri national highway on Wednesday evening while they were returning from Hardwar. Police said the incident took place when six persons travelling in their Maruti Alto car had a head-on collision with a truck coming from Ambala. The collision was so strong that three persons died on the spot while two others died in hospital. The victims were identified as Rashmi (38), Suraj (16), Neeraj (13), Lajja Sharma, car driver Roop Lal, while the family head Roshan Lal Sharma (40) too is said to be critical at MM University hospital in Mullana.
