Solan: Property worth Rs 50 lakh was gutted in a devastating fire that broke out at Burawala in Barotiwala industrial town on Tuesday evening. The factory godown caught fire due to shirt circuit, and the blaze was controlled by fire tenders in two hours, police source told HimVani. ASI at Barotiwala police station, Mahinder Singh, told HimVani that no loss of life was reported, however property to the tune of Rs 50 lakh was burnt down in the mishap.
