BJP members huddle at Peterhoff to discuss future course

Four days after getting the complete majority in Himachal, Bharatiya Janata Party is yet to announce the name of next Chief Minister. The party is trying to bring consensuses among in the party state unit to select the CM face as Mr Prem Kumar Dhumal has lost the recent Assembly Election. The party spokesman said that the party core group meeting was convened at Peterhoff at 1600 hours meanwhile, the party in charge and Bihar Health Minister Mr Mangal Pandey, Party president Satpal Singh Sati, Opposition leader Perm Kumar, Jai Ram Thakur and other core group members likely to attend the meeting.

The party sources said that new party legislative would meet at Shimla tomorrow to elect the new Bharatiya Janta Party Legislative leader or Chief Minister. After election of Chief ministerial candidates new government may take oath on Dec 23. Mr Jai Ram Thakur also met with Mr Dhumal at Samirpur last evening to discuss the issue of the legislative party meeting. There are reports that BJP parliamentary board is decided to elect the party legislative leader among the winning candidates. Late night meeting between Mr Thakur and Mr Dhumal was to end the stalemate and thaw the deadlock as the party is reported indecisive on the matter.

After many flip-flops to not announcing the name of CM candidate BJP president Amit Shah declared Mr Dhumal as party CM face in between the campaign trail in the month of November, however, Party was no in affix as Mr Dhumal lost the assembly election from Sujjanpur. Party despite won 44 seats in state assembly election lost the assembly election of Mr Prem Kumar Dhumal who was the CM declared CM face. Mr Jairam Thakur told media today that Mandi parliamentary segment should have the given the Chief Minister post as it is played the main role to party major victory after winning 14 seats out of 17 seats remained unrepresentative so far.
