Monsoon rain lashed parts of HP

The South-West Monsoon turns weak in the State as it was confined to few parts of the State while rest of state was mainly dry but over cast today. In Kangra district Dehra gopipur got highest 74 mm rainfall, Gohar in Mandi 69 mm, Bhoranj in Hamirpur 34 mm, Mandi 26 mm, Hamirpur 24 mm, Banjar in Kullu 19 mm. Sujanpurtihra 18 mm, Sarkaghat 17 mm, Jogindernagar 13 mm, Pandoh in Mandi 11 mm, Rampurbushar in Shimla 10 mm, Paontsahib & Nahan 9 mm each.

 

The maximum temperature remained stationary as Shimla was at 22.2 degrees, Sunderngar of Mandi 31.8 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 33.1 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur 23 degrees, Dharamshala 28.2 degrees, Una 34.2 degrees, Nahan 25.9 degrees and Kangra 32.3 degrees respectively. The Met office forecast rain at many parts of mid and few part of foot hills and rain and snowfall at few part of high reaches in next 24 hours.
