HP Government orders magisterial probe in copying in SSB exam


    This hill state is once again in controversy after alleged complaints of copying in Shastri teachers examination for the post of Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Selection Board (SSB) examination teaching staff as there are complaints that during the examination copying occurred during the Examination at Theog center in the district.


    A press statement issued by the Spokesman of the State Government said that it had got a fact finding report from Subdivision Magistrate Theog about copying for the post of Shastri Teachers conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Selection Board (SSB) Hamirpur in the month of May this year and it wants to further probe into the matter. He said that now the State Government appointed Additional District Magistrate (law and order) Mr. Hamis Negi as Probing Officer.


    Mr. Negi issuing a notification about the matter said that any person could lodge the complaint and present the testimony and documentary evidence before him. The Spokesman said it wanted to extend the probe further and any person or Complainant could come forward to lodge his personal and e-mail complaints before the ADM as the Government is keen to get any additional relevant information to go further with the probe in this matter.
