Shimla: An earthquake measuring 2.3 on the Richter scale was felt
in Chamba region adjoining Jammu and Kashmir at 6.23 pm on Saturday. Director of Shimla meteorological office Manmohan Singh said the epicentre of the quake was at latitude 32.8 degrees north and longitude 76.0 degrees east, near to the J&K border. There have been no reports of any kind of loss.
