Shimla: Two more BEd colleges – Minerva College in Mandi and Shiva College in Bilaspur – in the state have been disaffiliated by the National Council for Teacher Education. It is reliably learnt that around 12 such colleges may lose affiliation following an inspection of these colleges by NCTE. Confirming the news, dean of college education AC Sood confirming the news said the colleges were found lacking in required infrastructure. Earlier, Himachal Pradesh University had denied affiliation to some BEd colleges in Solan and Shimla districts.
