Six officials of Jaypee cement plant booked for occupying land forcefully

Six officials of Jaypee cement plant owned by Jai Prakesh Company were booked by the police for forcefully occupying land after causing mine blast on the site and restraining the possession of owner on his property on Saturday. The matter came forth as the victims challenged the hegemony of local administration, state, political leaders belonged to BJP and Congress and company management in the Court recently.

The complaint alleged that Jaypee Cement Company was assisted by the State Government, Administration and Police and local BJP and Congress leader took him lightly when protested the action sought FIR in the matter. Conducting mine blast on Feb 20 at Baga-Dongli village of Mangal Tehsil of Arki Subdivision, Mr Chand was forced to hand over piece of land as all entry point got into the plot of land had blocked by the mining and and coming down of heavy boulders on the land.

He wants to lodge FIR however local Police as they did not register the case, he also wrote to state home Secretary Mr. Prabodh Sexsena to seeking action against errant officers but he did not act. The matter went to local court and FIR was lodged against the six official of plant for unlawfully taking over the land without consent and rehabilitation of owner.

Complainant Laxmi Chand said that he got relief from the Judaical Magistrate First Class Court of Arki in Solan district as it issued notice to the state and plant official on the application moved by him in the Court. The complaint alleged that police act after getting notice from the court and registered FIR against the six official in the matter of Saturday. Now FIR was lodged against the six officer namely company executive director Ran Vijay, J Sheru, R.P. Gautam, Mukesh Sharma, Blasting inchrage R.K.Pathak and P. Vikram who are booked under section of  436, 295, , 295 a, 341 and 506 of CrPC.

Company officials allegedly charged for vacating possession of victim and also slapped notice by the court . Police also recorded statement of complaint after he moved the Court. The matter belongs to year 2008 when the firm applied for taking over the said piece of land however without paying any rehabilitation to owner of land it want to grab the land forcefully.

Company was also alleged to intimidate him however he did not allowed it to take over the land and a temple built up on it. To take over the land forcefully the company officials conducted indiscriminate mine blast. Blasting blocked the entry of owner in land and temple. He went to register FIR on Feb 21 however he was threatened by the company officials and police did not lodge case. Despite having clear direction from SC on forceful acquisition of farmers land Home secretary of State government did not act when he was also given the complaint in the matter. Local people alleged that Local BJP and Congress leaders did not helped the victims and reportedly taking side of firm.
