Former two time Chief Minister and incumbent leader of opposition in the State, Prem Kumar Dhumal celebrated his 73rd birthday at his native place at Samirpur with performing of worship and distributing sweets in Hamirpur district. Mr. Dhumal born in Apr 10 1944 and today he celebrated his birthday along with his family members and fans at Samirpur.
Mr. Dhumal is currently leader of Opposition in the state assembly as party have about 27 member in 68 member unicameral legislative assembly. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was among prominent who greeted Mr. Dhumal on his birthday after making a telephone call, CM office confirmed.
On the occasion of Mr. Dhumal’s birthday celebration was held by the party member. Right Change, a NGO held a blood Donation camp at Gandhi Choke in Hamirpur where about 250 people, youths and women donated their blood. Similar blood donation camps were also organised at Ridge maidan in Shimla, Solan, Bilaspur and Sirmour districts.
