It was hazy and mainly dry in the State today baring rain or snowfall experienced at few places in the high reaches. However cold waves did not relent life as night temperature remained one or two degree below normal. The reports arriving said that Pooh got 26 cm fresh snowfall over night and Keylong experienced trace of snow.
Tourist resort Dalhousie recorded two mm rainfall and Kalpa in Kinnuar one mm each. The rest of the State was mainly dry however cold waves continue in the State as Keylong was recorded minimum at minus 1.6 degrees and two degree below normal. Kalpa was low at one degrees, tourist resort Manali four degrees.
The minimum temperature of Solan and Shimla was 8.4 degrees each, Sunder nagar of Mandi 9,7 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 10 degrees, Bilaspur 10.4 degrees and Chamba 10.8 degrees, Dharamshala 11.8 degrees, Kangra 12.3 degrees, Palampur and Hamirpur 12.5 degrees each, Una and Mandi 12.6 each degrees and Nahan 16.5 degrees respectively.
The Met office forecast mainly dry weather in next 24 hours in the State.
