Lofty Dhauladhar ranges of Kangra district experienced fresh snowfall in the day today and downstream lashed with rain showers plummeting the temperature in the day. Reports arriving here said that snowfall occurred in the Dhauladhar ranges further covering the lofty mountains in thick cover of snow.
Abode of Tibetan Leader Dalai Lama Dharamshala also got 6 millimeter rainfall, Kangra also recorded two mm rainfall in the day. The minimum and maximum temperature of Dharamshala were 6.4 degrees and 12.6 degrees and Kangra 4.6 degrees and 14.8 degrees. Other part of district also got light rain showers increasing the cold wave in the downstream.
