NEW DELHI: Popular Himachal fruit wines like Apple wine, Plum wine and Pear wine will be star attractions for foreign tourists at the New Year eve parties in Goa this year, C R B Lalit, managing director, HPMC (Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Produce Processing and Marketing Corporation) informed here.
Lalit said that a memorandum of understanding has been reached between state owned HPMC and Goa State Horticulture Corporation, under which all Himachali products like apple juices, jams, jellys, apple wine, plum wine and pear wine etc will be sold in the state of Goa through its 200 outlet and infrastructure setup at all the important tourist resorts in the state in near future.
The MD said that HPMC will extend its co-operation to Goa and in turn sell Goa products like Cashew, Coconut Copra, Cocum etc, under the brand name of HPMC in Himachal and throughout country, through its strong network of 400 outlets.
