CM Virbhadra lays stones for Rs.35 Crore shooting range

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra Singh who is holding the portfolio of Youth and Sports Minister HP, today laid the foundation stone of Rs 35 Crore Shooting range at Loharab in Dudhalti Gram Panchayat in Shimla district today. CM laid the foundation stones of shooting range and Fine Arts college. He said that the shooting range will be spread in about 50 bigha land to cost around Rs. 35 Cr and it would be bared by the State Government.

 

Addressing a public meeting on the occasion, Mr. Virbhadra Singh said that state-of-art facilities would be provided in the shooting range which would provide a suitable platform not only to the youth of the State but to the national and international players as well. Shooting ranges for different events to be set up here and besides organizing the State, National and International levels shooting events, camps would also be organized to facilitate the shooters.

 

The State government is also proposed to set up multi-purpose stadium at Kutasani for organizing various sports events. The Chief Minister honored Geeta Ram and Roop Singh, the local residents who donated the land for construction of shooting range.
