Dharamsala: While the IPL matches have come as a boon for the hotel industry in the town, there is much excitement about where all the star players and team owners would be staying. By now most of the uncertainty has vanished and it is almost clear who will be staying where. So Himachal’s pride Preity Zinta, co-owner of Kings XI Punjab, will be staying at Blossom Village Resort near Norbu Lingka Institute, The Kings XI team will put up at Hotel Raj Grand in Kangra, Deccan Chargers at Club Mahindra in Dari and Chennai Super Kings at Hotel Suria in McLeod Ganj. Besides, the under-construction Pavilion Hotel being build by HPCA at Kandi will also host some officials.
Meanwhile, the district administration has decided to run shuttle bus service from Dharamsala to nearby places on the two match days. Besides three parking lots have also been identified for cricket lovers who would be coming from outside the town. These parking lots are SAI ground, Police ground and Mela ground in Dari. Each parking lot will have a capacity of around 2,500 vehicles. There will also be heavy police presence of around 1,500 cops during the matches.
