Two held with illicit Charas in Kullu

Kullu police claim that they have recovered about 4 kilo and 650 gram of Charas from the possession of two persons during ‘Naka” at two different places arresting two person under various sections of ND&PS Act during the last 24 hours, senior police officer said.

Kullu police today recovered about 2 kilo and 850 gm illicit charas from a person during patrolling at Bhekli Road near Rama Bai, under police station Kullu early this morning. SP Kullu Padam Chand said that a case under ND&PS registered in Police Station Kullu by police at about 0630 hours during the nakabandi/patrolling at Bhekli Road near Rama Bai. He said that accused identified as Ravi Lal (35 years) resident of Beasar of Kullu district.

In another case under ND&PS registered in police station Kullu by police last night at 0850 hours during ‘nakabandi” at Shirar road near Raison, police recovered 1 kilo and 800 gram charas from the possession of Het Ram (39 years)belonging to Village Dhara. In both cases the accused were arrested and further investigation is progress, he added.
