The cold waves intensified in Himachal Pradesh after partly cloudy weather in the state and overcast in the higher reaches. Met office said that there would be mainly dry weather in the State however, partly cloudy weather in the higher reaches and overcast intensified the cold waves during the wee hours.
The minimum temperature of Keylong was recorded at -1.1 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur 2.4 degrees, Manali 3 degrees, Sundernagar 3.4 degrees, Bhuntar 3.6 degrees, Chamba 4.4 degrees, Bilaspur 5.4 degrees, Mandi 6.4 degrees, Una 6.8 degrees, Kangra and Hamirpur 7.6 degree each, Palampur 8 degrees, Nahan 10.4 degrees, Shimla 11.7 degrees and Dharamshala 12 degrees respectively.
