Forest officials recover 35 scants of Deodar during naka

Forest Sleuth recovered 34 scants of Deodar from the possession of a person when they interpreted a vehicle during a ‘naka’ at Shagad Suchan road in Kullu district on Saturday night police released issued said today.

 

SP Police Kullu Mr. Padam Chand said that Kullu police has registered a case under police station Bhuntar under Indian Forest Act on the statement of Ranger Officer Sainj Mr. Dinesh Kumar that on Nov 26 they recovered 34 scants of Deodar from a Jeep at Shagad Suchan road during night naka.

 

During investigation two persons have been arrested. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
