HP Governor & CM mourn the death of freedom fighter

HP Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh have condoled the death of veteran freedom fighter Bishan Dutt Sharma, who passed away today at his native village Richhana in Solan District at the age of 91. The Governor prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.

 

The Chief Minister said that Shri Bishan Dutt Sharma was a freedom fighter par excellence and had also participated in the Quit India Movement in 1942. He also played important role in motivating the people to take part in the freedom struggle of the Nation and fight against the British rule. Mr. Virbhadra Singh has expressed deep sympathies with the bereaved family members and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.
