Light clouds were hovering in the sky after prevailing of light Western Disturbance in the hill state, however the Mercury improvised in the State as it increased by 1-2 degrees in the last 24 hours. The reports arriving said that parts of High reaches of Lahaul Spiti, Kullu and Chamba was cloudy however there are no report of rain or snowfall so far. The night temperature was keeping below freezing point or in minus in Lahaul Spiti district improved as it was 2.8 degree Celsius in Keylong the headquarter of district. Similarly night temperature of Kalpa in Kinnaur was 2. 4 degree respectively.
The mid and foot hills were comparatively cold to high reaches in the State today as Sunder nagar in Mandi was low at 4 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu was low at 4.5 degrees, Mandi 5 degrees, Manali 5.4 degrees and Solan 5.5 degrees respectively. Bilaspur was low at 6 degrees, Chamba 7.1 degrees, Palampur 8.5 degrees, Una 9.3 degrees, Hamirpur 9.5 degrees, Kangra 9.8 degrees, Shimla 10.3 degrees, Nahan 10.8 degrees and Dharamshala 12.4 degrees respectively.
The Met office forecast mainly dry weather in the State however higher reaches may have light rain and snowfall in the next 24 hours.
