Himachal Pradesh Police today claimed that they have nabbed a person while carrying contraband Heroine from his possession under Police Station Bhuntar in Kullu district last night. The Superintendent of Police Kullu Mr. Padam Chand said that case has been registered under ND & PS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act) at police station Bhunter last night at 2000 hours during patrolling at Sabzi Mandi Chowk Bhunter.
Policy party recovered contraband 11 Gram Heroine from the possession of Mr. Sanjay Kumar who is resident of village Mohal. Accused is arrested and further investigation of the case is in progress. Pedaling of Heroine is rare in the State as most of the cases were earlier being caught of Charas, Opium and Poppy Husks was also grown by local people in the State. The State drive to remove the Bhang (Canabis) was conducted in the hill state which claimed to reduce the smuggling of NDPS to complete eradication.
