Governor & CM greet people on Diwali

The Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh have felicitated the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Diwali festival. The Governor said the festival of lights symbolizes joy and happiness and celebrates victory of good over evil and light over darkness. He hoped that the festival would bring joy and happiness into the lives of the people.

 

Mr. Virbhadra Singh, while greeting the people on the occasion, expressed hope that Diwali would shower enlightenment on the people of the State and would bring prosperity besides strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and unity. The Chief Minister urged the citizens of the State to celebrate Diwali in a pollution free manner. The Ministers and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries have also extended their good wishes to the people of the State on Diwali festival.
