Himachal Pradesh Member of Parliament from Hamirpur and President BJYM, Mr. Anurag Thakur, on the invitation of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi attended the select Ministerial Delegation lunch, organized to host Prime Minister of New Zealand Mr. John Key. The ministerial delegation lunch was hosted at Hyderabad House, in New Delhi.
The New Zealand cricket team is on a tour to India and is currently playing five-match One-Day International (ODI) series. Earlier in the month of September, both the teams contested in a Test match series as well. Being the President of BCCI and an active parliamentarian, Sh. Anurag Thakur was invited by Sh. Narendra Modi to be a part of the ministerial delegation.
Commenting on the same, Sh. Anurag Thakur said, “It is an honor of the highest level to be invited by Sh. Narendra Modi ji for the ministerial delegation and I would like to thank Modi ji for the same. Interacting with Mr. John Key was extremely stimulating and it was a privilege to meet him.” Mr. John Key is on a State Visit to India from 24-27 October. He arrived in Mumbai on October 24 and in Delhi today, i.e. October 26, 2016.
