The State Unit decided to form left front for the next Assembly election after sharing seats with CPI and supporting progressive and Independent candidates, this was decided in the State committee meeting held on Sunday. The party state incharge Vijaya Raghvan also attended the meeting. Talking to the media persons, the State Secretariat member Mr. Tekinder Singh Panwer said that party wants to present the alternate of Ruling Congress and Opposition BJP as two have no difference in the policies and replacing each other in the power.
‘There is need to form left front as Both mainstream parties are working to favor the corporates ignoring common man and people of this state.” CPI(M) leader alleged. The two days meeting held on Saturday and Sunday decided to not form third front with non BJP and Non Congress party but decided to from left front led by CPI(M). He said that CPI(M) would not fight with CPI after sharing seats and it would give support to Independent and progressive candidates where two party would not able to field its own candidates.
