Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra Singh hailed the surgical strikes on launch pads of terrorists in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). While interacting with media today Mr. Singh said that none of the countries would tolerate attacks and unnecessary killings of innocent people from foreign soil and the surgical attacks on terrorists camps by Indian Army was a ‘right step at the right moment’.
The Chief Minister said he believes that there were many in Pakistan who wanted peace and no war between the two countries. All people staying in Pakistan were not of the same ideology and they want harmony, he said, adding that the attacks were on terrorist’s launch pads and the denial by Pakistan authorities on the issue reflects that they want to hide from the world that the terrorists killed were given training, had hideouts, training camps and were sheltered by them.
