Cold waves increase with partly cloudy weather in Himachal

The cold waves suddenly increase in the State as it was partly cloudy and some parts of the State were lashed with rainfall. Bharmour in Chamba district got 5 mm rainfall, Palampur and Ghamroor 2 mm each respectively.

 

The minimum temperature of Keylong was recorded at 7.5 degrees, Kalpa 8.6 degrees, Manali 12.2 degrees, Shimla 13.6 degrees, Dalhousie 15.4 degrees, Solan and  Palampur 16 degrees, Mandi 16.3 degrees, Bhuntar 16.5 degrees, Chamba 17.4 degrees, Nahan and Sundernagar 18.5 degree each and Kangra 19 degrees, Hamirpur 20.6 degrees, Bilaspur 20.9 degrees and Una 22.8 degrees respectively.

 

The Met office forecast rainfall and thundershowers at isolated parts of the State in the mid hill, however it would be mainly dry in the rest of the State.
