The feud within the ruling Congress and party government in Himachal Pradesh is taking more worst form as two incumbent party secretaries rebutted the remarks made by the Chief Minister against them in a public meeting at Sirmaur district on Friday. Mr. Pradeep Verma and Ms. Kasum Verma both were party HPCC secretary said in a press statement issued today that they felt saddened how six time chief ministers blamed party secretaries for sweeping defeat of Congress in all the four Lok Sabha Elections in 2014 as BJP wrest all the seats in the state.
“I had joined party campaign in 2012 Assembly elections to ensure the victory of Mr. Singh in rural Shimla assembly segment and managed massive victory for Chief Minister ” Mr. Verma said reminding his contribution followed be elevation of him into party secretary. Ms. Verma also said that she work relentlessly in the state without claiming traveling allowance to various parts the of state on their own expenses however Chief minister’s remarks deeply hurt her.
The Chief Minister has stated in public meeting in Sirmaur district yesterday that the party did not lose Lok Sabha election owing to any wave of Mr. Modi and BJP however it was betrayal of Congress leaders who is not appointed party secretaries by HPCC president Mr. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The Chief Minister had termed Mr. Sukhu inefficient to handle party assembly campaign having different point of view from the party for party debacle in Lok Sabha which was creating verbal dual between the Mr. Sukh sympathizers and party clout always surrounds chief minister.
