Monsoon rain lashes parts of Himachal Pradesh

After the dry weather of yesterday monsoon rain lashed few parts of Himachal Pradesh today as Solan, Chamba, Hamirpur, Mandi, Kangra and Shimla districts recorded light to moderate rainfall.

Jogindernagar & Naina Devi recorded 20 mm rainfall each, Dharamshala 17 mm, Dharampur 15 mm, Mandi, Shimla, Palampur & Hamirpur 13 mm each, Karsog & Mashobra 12 mm each, Seobagh, Gaggal & Pachhad 11 mm each and Bharmaur 10 mm respectively.

The minimum temperature of Shimla was recorded as 16.5 degrees, Sundernagar 21.3 degrees, Bhuntar 19.4 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnuar 13.4 degrees, Dharamshala 16.4 degrees, Una 25 degrees, Nahan 20.3 degrees, Keylong 14.3 degrees, Palampur 18.5 degrees, Solan 20.4 degrees, Chamba 20 degrees, Manali 13.6 degrees, Kangra 21 degrees, Bilaspur 22.8 degrees, Hamirpur 22.9 degrees and Mandi 19 degrees.

The Met office warned of very heavy rainfall at isolated places in mid hills of Himachal Pradesh in the next 24 hours along with widespread rainfall in rest of the State.
