Police book a man under HPICN Act

The Himachal Pradesh Police booked a person for the violation of HP Instruments Control Noises Act after lodging an FIR at the Police station New Shimla last night.

The Police Superintendent of Shimla Mr. D W Negi said that a case has been registered on Friday night under section 188 IPC 06 of HP Instruments Control Noises Act 1969 (HPICN) on the complaint of police officer Head Constable Dinesh of police station New Shimla.

The Police officer alleged that on July 22,2016 Pritam Singh Kanwer resident of village Kalawang post office Bewaliya Tehsil and District Shimla was playing DJ and his music system at the Community Hall Sector-2 New Shimla after 2200 hours.

This was a violation of the order of District Magistrate and HP Instruments Control Noises Act 1969 (HPICN). The case is being investigated by Head Constable Dinesh.
