The South West Monsoon lashed few parts of Himachal Pradesh as the Indian Meteorological Department issued alert of heavy rainfall in Solan, Shimla, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Mandi and Sirmour distircts in the next 24 hours.
The Met office said that significant rainfall occurred in many places of Himachal Pradesh as Nahan in Sirmaour district got 86.8 mm rainfall, Nadaun in Hamirpur 43 mm, tourists resort Kasauli 40 mm, Arki of Solan & Amb of Una 38 mm each, Dehra Gopipur 31 mm, Aghar in Mandi 29 mm, Naina Devi in Bilaspur 29 mm, Bagana in Una 26 mm, Baldwara in Mandi 25 mm, Gumarwin in Bilaspur 18 mm and Mandi 15 mm respectively.
The minimum temperature of Shimla recorded as 15.4 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi 21.9 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 20.8 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur 13 degrees, Dharamshala 16.4 degrees, Una 23.3 degrees, Nahan in Sirmour 18.1 degrees and Solan 20.2 degrees respectively.
The Met office forecast heavy monsoon rainfall in many places in the state during the next 24 hours.
