Online registration begins at IGMC

Joining the elite club like AIIMS and PGIMR premier health institutions, Himachal Pradesh IGMC today launched ‘On-line Registration’ for seeking health services as it was dedicated to the people by Health Minister Mr. Kaul Singh Thakur this morning.

The facility would enable 64 lakh people living in the far flung and remote areas to get online registration to no more wait for hours in the long queue to get registered outside the IGMC window counters.

Mr. Kaul Singh Thakur said that people would facilitate with the launching of this services as they could conveniently register for seeking diagnosis and medical check-up. The services would assist the people to advance registration by one week and it would save the valuable time and money for striving hard to seek health services.

The minister said that a number of people daily wait impatiently to seek the registration and appointment with the specialist doctors at IGMC as it was one of the premier health institutions in the State.

Under the National Child Heath Program Minister of national health mission, the Minister also unveiled first district early intervention centre (DEIC). The DEIC would offer readily services of the paediatrician and specialist doctors of all streams which also help to achieve target to do away completely infant mortality rate in the State. Under the program specialist doctors would treat the children on every Wednesday. The centre would provide free treatment up to Rs. 75000 including the 18 year old school students.

  1. This is really a good initiative for specially patients who come from other districts.

    IGMC online registration was needed for all Himachalis.
