The UPA chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and her daughter Mrs. Priyanka Vadra today returned to Delhi after visiting Shimla town for three days as the two went by road to Chandigarh airport this afternoon to take off for Delhi in the air flight, the polices sources confirmed.
Mrs. Gandhi who was staying at the five star hotel Wild Flower at Chharabra had to brave the pre-monsoon showers to take the last glimpse of under construction house of Priyanka Vadra near the Retreat this morning. Mrs. Gandhi and her daughter remained on the site for about half an hour and took a luxury car at 1330 hours from Charabara as they went from Mashobra to Chandigarh.
Two top Gandhi linage leaders skipped from the State Congress hospitality as they did not meet the Congress chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra Singh and also did not permit any of the party leader to meet them during this three day visit, expect the Congress state President Mr. Sukhvinder Singh Sukho who reportedly had launch break discussion with Mrs. Gandhi at the Wild flower hotel yesterday but it was not revealed to media what was being transpired between the two leaders.
Mrs. Gandhi was attended by party former rural district president of Shimla Mr. Kehar Singh Khachi who was looking after the construction work of the house called cottage of Ms. Priyanka Vadra. The house was being constructed with the snail pace and it had been dismantlement and reconstructed again.
