Una records max 38.4 degree C



Shimla: Mercury continued to be on the higher side in Himachal Pradesh as dry weather conditions prevailed throughout with day temperature remaining nine to 10 degrees higher than normal. The maximum temperature was recorded at Una at 38.4 degrees Celsius today, followed by Sundernagar at 35 degrees.
At Bhuntar, Dharamshala and Solan, it was at 31 degrees each and at Nahan 33.3 degrees.
The capital town recorded 25.7 degrees and Kalpa 20 degrees, respectively.

The minimum temperature recorded in Shimla and Dharamshala was 15 degrees each, Solan and Sunderngar 12 degrees each and Bhuntar 9.5 degrees, respectively. At Kalpa the temperature was low at 5.5 degrees, Keylong 2.8 degrees, Mandi and Una 14 degrees each and Nahan 22.9 degrees, respectively.
The Met office has forecast mainly dry weather in the next 24 hours.
