Heavy rainfall and thunder storms in various parts of HP

The Met Department issuing warning today said that thunderstorms accompanied with hailstorm are likely to occur in isolated places in the State in the next 24 hours. Weather forecast says that few places in the foot hill, middle hills and high reaches likely to have heavy rainfall and thunder showers in the State.

Rainfall recorded in Dharamshala today 32.4 mm, Jhungi 27 mm, Solan 26 mm, Shimla 23 mm, Kufri 16 mm, Sundernagar and Kangra 15 mm each, Una 13 mm, Kalpa 7 mm, Bilaspur 6 mm and Kasauli 3 mm respectively.

The maximum temperature of Shimla was recorded 25.2 degrees, Sundernagar 32 degrees, Bhuntar 28.6 degrees, Kalpa 22.4 degrees, Dharamshala 26.8 degrees, Una 37.6 degrees, Nahan 34 degrees and Solan 29 degrees.
