To beat the summer vacation rush, SpiceJet, country’s favourite low-cost carrier, has upgraded its summer schedule with third additional frequency on Delhi – Dharamshala, 4th additional frequency on Delhi – Chandigarh and 2nd additional frequency on Delhi – Amritsar route.
Sr. Vice President (Commercial) SpiceJet, Ms. Shilpa Bhatia said in a press release issued today that bookings for the tickets are now open on www.spicejet.com, SpiceJet’s mobile apps and through online travel portals and travel agents. “We are truly grateful to the overwhelming response of our customers to the summer schedule we introduced recently. SpiceJet has been achieving the highest load factor consistently for the past ten months, which clearly reinstates its brand preference. Our upgraded summer schedule is a step further to cater to the robust demand on key routes during the holiday season.” she said.
Indian Airlines operates one flight each to Gaggal airport for Dharamshala and Bhunter airport in Kullu and Spice jet operates two flights to Dharamshala and one to Kullu. However, none of the airlines operate any flights daily to Shimla airport of Himachal Pradesh.
Spice jet would fly third additional flight from Delhi to Dharamshala at 0835 hours to 1100 hours and Dharamshala to Delhi at 1120 hours to 1250 hours daily.
